What is Christian meditation and prayer? As Christians, how can we use contemplative practices to get still and slow down our busy lives? Additionally, how can prayer and meditation enrich our spiritual practices and deepen our worship?

The following blogs will explore these topics and offer wisdom for Christians seeking deeper spiritual experiences. We will explore topics such as the postures of prayer, praying with beads, and more.

Next, we will explore how Christian meditation and prayer can partner with other spiritual practices, such as yoga. As a Christ-follower and yoga teacher with over 25 years of experience, I have experienced how practicing “Christian” yoga can deepen one’s relationship with Christ.

If you are interested in learning new spiritual practices that will help you grow in your walk with Christ, these blogs are for you. I believe there is much wisdom to be learned from Christian meditation and prayer practices. One of the biggest benefits is the contemplative practice of slowing down and connecting with yourself and with the presence of God.

These blogs are for readers at every stage of their walk with Christ and/or yoga practice. Join me as we explore these contemplative practices together.
